MAMA ADIJA'S MASA - DAY 8

Hello my dear readership!

It's the Pendragon again, your favorite citizen journalist, and welcome back to the #CitizenJournalismChallenge!

Today, I was returning from the football house to go watch Tottenham Hotspurs vs Chelsea's match and to be honest I was in high spirit cos Chelsea did the impossible.

Suddenly, I saw Mama Adija making her Masa.. it looked so demure, so bought for #500 and took some hot jpegs of the hot masa..

For your information, Masa is a traditional Hausa delicacy from Northern Nigeria!

Masa is a type of fermented corn dough that's molded into small balls or patties and then fried or grilled. The fermentation process gives masa its distinctive sour taste and chewy texture.

Masa is often served with various toppings or sauces, such as:

- Miyan kubewa (a spicy peanut sauce)
- Suya pepper (a spicy peanut-based sauce)
- Fried eggs
- Grilled meat or fish

Masa is a popular breakfast food in Northern Nigeria but also also enjoyed as a snack or light meal throughout the day, even at night.

This is the big question..

Have you ever tried Masa?
