Friday “Talk Am As E Be!"
💊💊💊
Love did not fail you. It only feels that way because of what you were shown and what you came to believe love should look like. And quietly, without even naming it, you have been trying to settle the difference. Trying to make sense of why something that was supposed to feel safe ended up leaving marks.

Sometimes it starts small. The way someone spoke to you and called it care. The way silence followed when you needed words. The way you learned to adjust, to shrink, to accept things that did not feel right but were presented as normal. And so you carried it. Not because you wanted to, but because it was what you were given.

The truth is, many of the people who hurt you were also carrying things they did not understand. They gave what they knew, even when what they knew was incomplete. It is a quiet kind of tragedy when someone does not even realise that what they are giving is broken.

So you grew up learning love from people who were still trying to understand it themselves. And now you are here, trying to separate what love truly is from what you were taught to accept.

You are not broken. You have just been working with a pattern that was flawed from the start. And the beautiful thing is that patterns can be unlearned, gently, patiently, one truth at a time.
