LOST IN SILENCE

On a couch, she lies, lost and still,
A phone in hand, a mind unfulfilled.
An empty barrel, once wine did hold,
Now echoes silence, hollow and cold.
Idleness clashes with inner drive,
"What to write?" echoes, a battle to thrive.
A pen dropped, rolled away, lost to time,
Infinity's vastness, her creative prime.
Her brain, a balloon, bursting to express,
Yet, words elude, like shadows in the mess.
She searches deep, for inspiration's spark,
But finds only darkness, a creative embark.
Quiet, unmotivated, uninspired, she stays,
Writing about the void, in endless ways.
