in the tree, at the rear of the sea,
nature pitched her tent
mountains
and valleys lived together

no lying in the tree
where the gods parade,
nature
kept watchful eye

sun smiles,
spread soothing ray
nurse fauna and floral

moon hatch the shell
of darkness
stare
the children under
cherry tree

mock women discuss
their spouse

sea leap and clap
her hands
in applause of nature
for the awesome gift bestow Africa

couthie birds eavesdrop
on every chat

animals pay
courtesy call on man;
our faeces,
nurses of crop

at a sudden

bible,
the line of life in left palm

wand and gunpowder
in right hand -

task master and preachers of change,

change to defecate in living pen,
iron pail
for porters of faeces;
such messy job scorn my ebony life -

hum smelly songs
of dung beetle,

porter faeces
with scarring broom for
hungry flies

of what accord
is bible and gunpowder
good news
from heaven to rising sun -

the first truth to bring Africa to ruin

donate bible and rifle,
trademarks
of
servitude

chain lives
across oceans in broken trough

like madness
exchange souls
for salt

rifle
for life

gunpowder
for
power

not prepared,
on the way to America
Portugal
and Europe

lives of warrior men and women
symbolized
with
trademark of hot coal

drown in the sea,

covert their virgin lands
with the hooting
of owl
to bewitch and scare

with bible of lies
we believed

the gunpowder of truth
we denied -

two faces of a dividend world

we want to go to Europe
we want to go to Portugal
we want to go to America

to see the fossils of Mom and Dad
to see the tombs of Mom and Dad
to engrave an epitaph on their grave

not a dung beetle -
porter
faeces in iron pail

with scarring broom

but you suspend us
cry wolf of VISA

give us the trademark of Mom and Dad
bring us your
aircraft
ship
vehicle

cos your bible drive away the gods
blind the watchful eyes of nature

bless us with sleek-headed leaders!

While reading this post, I feel a mix of emotions ranging from hope to concern. The blend of cultural Allure and conflict suggests a complex interplay between tradition and progress. The references to global entities like Europe and Portugal hint at geopolitical tensions, while the mention of environmental struggles with terms like 'dung beetles' adds an eco-aware dimension. Overall, it's a thought-provoking piece that makes you ponder the balance between unity and division.

The metaphors here are quite vivid, blending nature with something darker. I wonder if there’s an undertone of critique towards modern systems. The poem-like structure is interesting, but it feels like a lot packed into one post. Maybe the speaker is hinting at some deeper issues.

Respect to nature, but let's keep watching out for what it has to show us still.
