#poetryLet's Study the African Child: 1. Vulnerable and completely neglected, left and found the African Child in this part of the world - Africa. As products of circumstances, they are abused and subjected to defilement, early hands in marriage, teenage pregnancy, female genital mutilation, trokosi, street hawkling, trafficking and kidnapping. Yet they are our heart desire, God given gifts to be cherished and catered for. To them belong the kingdom of God. 2. With this gentle smile, let's show them love. With these sweet kisses, let's remove their tears. An injury to them is an injury to us. Whoever loves them loves us. And whoever hates them hates us. For they are parts of us. 3. NGOs, opinion leaders, government agencies and every discerning mind, let' s awake from our slumber and start caring for the African children. Let 's look inside their minds to find the root causes their behaviors. Let's s us show them loves and affections.4. A nation that neglects its young folks toy with retrogression and underdevelopment. As the future looks bleak if the present is mortgaged. A nation grows and develops by the quality of its young folks. For a porcupine shocks the breast of it's child at old age. For these African children are our present joy and future hope. 5.
