DAY 4 - OGUTA LAKE
Born from the damming of the lower Njaba River, this artifical lake made from aluvium is the largest lake in Imo state, the Southeastern region of Nigeria.

It holds significant importance being a means of transportation during the Biafran Civil war.
It also has spiritual importance to the people of OGUTA.

The "finger lake" is known for the confluence of the Urashi and Ogbuike Rivers with their distinctive colours that never mix up.

The Oguta Lake and Golf Resort is located nearby for tourists who wish to have a lovely sight and experience of the lake.

Isn't it a scenic beauty to behold?

We once explored this lake during my undergraduate days at unizik. It was a group of Catholic students. It is a very big lake. Somewhere in the middle of the lake, our speed boat's engine tripped off and my eyes saw my ears that day. After series of some ejaculatory prayers. The captain was able to restart the boat again. WO... I will never forget that day in a hurry. Lol
