The Matriarch

The tides follow the Matriarch
A path threaded before
The rivers are always bustling with life and death
A beautiful story always waiting to be told by the splashing of sweet honey waters of the brown river against the black rocks
We’ve lived a million years before,
Even the waters could tell where it all began
The Nile and the Congo testament of the stories of when the young were old and the old young…
We bathed in the same old dirty ponds that broke out of the beauty.
While craving the moonlight’s gaze to send messages to the tides of suffering from our hearts.
All is fair no enemy as the water takes us in flaws and all…
The stories we tell, well listened to
As the Matriarch leads us in the journey through the river.
