Last night's train took me right back to you
You were not my destination but somehow I found what I wasn't looking for; there you were standing right in front of me

Separated by the chasm of time, I stood in the present while you stood in the past, still unreachable as you've ever been

You shone before my eyes; tall, elegant and beautiful.
No words were said but louder than all was the sound of my heart wrenching and the pain in both our eyes as I turned away from the illusion and let my pillow soak my tears

It's been all these years but I guess my heart still misses you.
