Kemi Badenoch making mistake, ‘ll soon learn her lessons – Ex-minister Akinyemi

A former Nigerian Minister of External Affairs, Bolaji Akinyemi, has faulted the recent remarks made by United Kingdom Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, regarding Nigeria.
According to him, Badenoch’s comments reflect a misguided attempt to advance her political career at the expense of her heritage.
Speaking during a televised program, Akinyemi criticised Badenoch for what he described as denigrating Nigeria on the global stage.
Akinyemi advised Badenoch to shift her attention to addressing challenges within Britain and her Conservative Party instead of criticising Nigeria.
This comes after Presidential spokesman Daniel Bwala recently suggested that her remarks were aimed at gaining acceptance within the Conservative Party.
