The Kaduna State Chamber of Commerce commended the Executive Governor of Yobe State H.E Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN for his commitment to promoting industry, culture, trade, and direct support to small businesses across Yobe State.
They commended him while the representative of the Kaduna State Chamber of Commerce, Engr. Joseph Okwonya, was speaking at the World Expo "46th, Kaduna International Trade Fair" on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Joseph said, “We are delighted that cultural events have returned to Yobe State after years of struggle for peace. What is remarkable is how the Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN, has played a significant role in restoring peace to the good people of Yobe State.
“Yobe State has now moved from the threat of terrorism to a state of economic recovery and balance that will benefit all sectors of the population because many development projects are being implemented as a result of the restoration of peace in the state.
“This is part of the reason why we commend His Excellency Governor Buni for playing a significant role in revitalising industries, building new businesses, modern markets, and improving governance in various sectors.” Joseph, council member, Kaduna State Chamber of Commerce, said
The event was attended by the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Tourism, and Solid Minerals, accompanied by the chairmen of the local government areas of the state, representing the Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, COMN.
