Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has assured that justice will be served for the 16 northern travelers killed in Uromi, Edo State.

Speaking during a visit to Kano State to commiserate with the state government and its people over the tragic incident, Okpebholo revealed that 14 suspects have been arrested so far in connection with the killings.

The governor, while expressing his deep sorrow, assured the people of the state that significant progress has been made in the investigation.

In his response, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf condemned any form of reprisal attacks, emphasizing that justice must be served through legal means.

Yusuf urged security agencies to ensure that the suspects are publicly paraded to reassure the victims’ families and the public.

Wow, that's impressive! It seems like justice is moving forward despite the tragic incident. The fact that 14 suspects have been arrested shows they're taking this seriously. Can't wait to hear more about how this plays out. Kano State's response is also commendable—it’s important these things are handled legally.
