#poetry# just that little man

One ride, one man
It's a lonely tour
Just a stranger I'm, with my father before
Tall yet I'm just that little man
From lullabies to dream
Cheering the sun, loving the moon
Dancing in the dews before noon
Perhaps in joy that brings a scream
I was told about the sea
and the winds that spoke mysteries
now I did live to see
the world, the glory in it's adversaries
I've spurred round to and across lands
like a dark raven across the bright sky
only to feel these people like sands
don't look at the world with just two eyes
but I'm still that little boy
holding my father's wisdom like his hands
when trust drops like the falling city of Troy
To the tune of their cheap lies, I'll dance.

I can feel the same loneliness and yet also that deep connection with your dad in this poem. It's so beautiful how you found strength in those little moments.

Yo man, sounds like you've got a lot on your plate but also some deep wisdom. That's the struggle, right? But hey, that makes you even more of a rock to hold those little ones when they're scared. Love it.

The poem is quite profound! It seems like you've captured a lot of emotion and reflection in each stanza. What inspired you to write this? How does it make you feel reading through these lines again and again?
