The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, provided solar panels, a Seamon, and a modern control unit to the existing borehole at Bolewa B in the Potiskum local government area.
In the efforts of the executive chairman of Potiskum local government area to develop the system of social welfare and improve the administration in the local government area, he decided to revive the local government and provide sufficient water for daily use to the good people of the local government.
The chairman is also excelled and known in creating a good management system in the area of facilities that directly affect the life of the community, such as water, fire, and roads, along with the revival of hospitals and agriculture in the local government area.
Mal. Idris, technical officer of the local government, accompanied by the staff of the works department, under the guidance of the supervisory councillor on works, led the modernisation and remodelling of the borehole in the Bolewa B district.
The local government technical officer, T.O. Mal. Idris, explained and testified that "this is not the first borehole that the honourable chairman has installed and changed its configuration from using Nepa power to solar power, and this is not the first time that we have looked at the corners to provide Seamon in order to supply the local government with clean water.
"Under the leadership of our chairman, Hon. Salisu Muktari, we have created thousands of development projects that will greatly help in the development of the local government area of Potiskum because the executive chairman has decided to solve the problems of water, fire, and cleaning the entire Potiskum.
