Jagun Jagun is the film that proved Nollywood can do epic the way epic was meant to be done.

Femi Adebayo produced and stars as Ogungbenle, a fearsome warlord who takes in a young warrior with hidden potential. What unfolds is a full-blooded Yoruba epic set in ancient times - betrayal, honor, warfare, and destiny woven together with a production quality that had no business being this high.

The costumes alone deserve an entire conversation. The battle sequences are choreographed with genuine intention. And the Yoruba language carries the film with a weight that would have been lost entirely in translation.

What Femi Adebayo understood that many before him missed: our stories do not need to look like Hollywood. They need to look like us. And Jagun Jagun looks exactly like us.
