I've been using the Maun Sports Complex for about three years now, and I think the best thing about it is how they keep the prices reasonable for locals. I remember when they first opened, there was a big push to be this high-end facility, but they've settled into a nice middle ground. The indoor cricket nets are what I use most, and they're well-maintained with good lighting for evening sessions.

One thing I don't see people mention enough is the walking track that circles the entire complex. It's not just for athletes - lots of families bring their kids there on weekends for a casual walk or bike ride. I've even seen people walking their dogs there after hours. The track is well-lit and has benches at regular intervals, which is great if you need to rest or watch a game happening on the adjacent fields.

On the practical side, the parking situation is actually pretty good compared to other sports centers I've been to. There's a main lot right in front, and an overflow lot behind the complex that fills up during big tournaments. Just a heads up - the overflow lot gets muddy during rainy season, so wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty.

If you're thinking of joining any of their programs, I'd recommend the mixed netball league on Wednesday nights. It's competitive but friendly, and they do a good job of balancing teams so one side doesn't dominate every week.

yo the walking track tip is legit. I always see people just using the courts but that track is actually the best part for a quick jog after work. also thanks for the heads up about the overflow lot, I almost parked there last weekend during that junior tournament and woulda been so annoyed with muddy shoes lol. how's the netball league for someone who hasn't played since high school?
