Is it easy?

Someone said to me over the weekend, "Charity, you make it so easy, when it comes to writing, when honestly, it isn't".

Of course, it's not!

When, I said grab a pen and start writing, I didn't say do it because it's easy. I said, you should do it because you want to.

You want to make a difference with your writing.

You want to unite nations with the strokes of your own.

You want to retire early because your writing shouldn't just enlarge your pocket but also your person.

You want to be remembered as the great writer of an outstanding piece of work.

So, who said it was going to be easy?

If it was easy, I bet everyone would want to be Writers, after all we all want beautiful and easy things.

But again, if it is so easy would you be fulfilled?

Would you proudly say, you have paid your dues of patience, perseverance and hard work?

Is there the dignity in labour then?

Life shouldn't be hard but to amount something in a planet, that there a lot of creative, talented and intelligent people, then you should be ready to work hard.

Before I began earning from my work, there were so many free writings I did and they helped me to become better.

I'm not saying, don't monetize your work. After all, you shouldn't be a struggling writer

All I'm saying, is redefine the reason you began writing!
Whether it's for the crisp wads of money or for another purpose, or even both, then you should work hard to achieve that.
