In a school where I'm
Neither a student nor a teacher
But armed with cane that never beat
To discipline children their parents couldn't

And to nurture the young ones that
Need a tender hand
"Your reward is in heaven", that's what they said.
I am a soldier, trained with guns
I am a rating, I mastered my rifles.

I didn't train with cane
I trained with pain and should see the gain
I didn't train with broom
But with gun to face the jungle not a classroom.
