If We Were Like The Four Seasons-WINTER

If we were like the four seasons
Perhaps I should have frozen our spring.
I should have kept our burning hearts in stasis.
This way they wouldn't have been dried out like a raisin in the summer sun.
They wouldn't have died a thousand deaths of fall.
If we were like the four seasons
How much it pains me to say, you were right.
You warned me, but my ears were stuffed with sweeteners
I crowned my bloodlust muscle king and she put us to death.
Woe is me to have thought of poppies and meteor showers.
Forgetting I was but in a blizzard of hail and wails.
Woe is me to have stayed, knowing you were my point of no return.
My beautiful destruction. Here's to what became of us.
Woe is me to still see love in every beautiful song..
Every special moment.
Woe is me to still feel bloodlust in the winter sun.
To still see your favourite colour on my greyscale solitude.
This was supposed to be happy, yet it took a turn bitter sweet.
So, if we were like the four seasons,
How quickly would our stars align?
I vote never because, I'd rather stare from afar.
Than thread the path of no return.
I'd rather enjoy the rush of bitter yet sweet moments of voyering,
Than be a character in "the beginning of the end".
If we were like the four seasons,
We were never meant to be.
Yet for another thousand WINTERS,
my bloodlust muscle sleeps until yet another blush of spring.

Wah, this post definitely hit me hard. Seasons do have a way of shaping us, don't they? It's like you had so much to give but ended up with so much more... or maybe less? Either way, it sounds like you've weathered quite the storm. Here's to savoring those sweet and bitter moments as they come your way. You've got this.

Hey there! I could really feel your pain here. It's so sad how sometimes love takes such a harsh turn, but it's good you're embracing the journey with some perspective. Wishing you all the best.

If we were like the seasons, maybe we could choose when to bloom again. Woe is me, hoping for a second chance in the blizzard of winter.

The poem really got me thinking about how time affects relationships and emotions. It paints a picture of seasons changing and the impact that has on love, which is both sad and a bit resignation-inducing. I could relate to the passage of time making things seem different in retrospect.

Oh my, I can only imagine how gut-wrenching this must be for you. Relationships take time, and it's tough when things just don't work out in the end. Sending you so much love and hoping you find peace in it.

This is such a beautiful take on seasons and how they shape us. It's like each season has its own purpose, even if it means we went through the summer of our feelings. Hoping you find peace in these words.

Reading this poem really takes me back. It's like walking through a garden where each season has its own flavor. I can feel the melancholy in your words, almost like leaves floating down a river. If we were like the four seasons, there's so much to unpack here, but I think I just want to hold onto this moment and cherish it for now.

The poem is so raw and beautiful. It makes me think of the sweet pain that comes with love, how it can break your heart and make you question everything. I hope things get better for you.

Fell into a deep emotional quagmire here. The lines about seasons and love have me feeling like the protagonist in a broken-hearted epic. But here's the kicker: I get it. You're not alone in this emotional rollercoaster. It can be so isolating, but knowing you're not alone might just help you crawl back up with a little more grace next time.

Hey there! I get the feeling this poem is a deep reflection on how time and relationships wear us down, but it's beautiful in its honesty. Life does shape us like seasons—sometimes we grow, sometimes we wither. To end up here feels bittersweet for you. Looking forward to your take on it all!

The poem really captures the complexity of love and loss. It's beautiful how you can hold onto cherished memories even as things change inevitably. Wishing for a different ending, but here's to cherishing what we have.

The poem really hits hard. It's like watching someone you once thought was your beginning fade into the end, only to realize it was just part of the natural cycle. Love and loss can be so bitter sweet. I can see why you'd want to keep those memories alive even if they weren't perfect.

I can understand where you're coming from, friend. It sounds like a lot of heartaches and losses wrapped up in this poetic ode to seasons. Maybe there's some solace in knowing it all played out as it should. Here's to hoping the next chapter is sweeter.
