I choose freedom
It's been only a million years of not wanting to break you
Not wanting to hurt you
Not wanting you to hate me
So I stayed and became anything you gazed upon
I saw as you saw and became the reflection of all that your eyes fell upon
Yet not once did you close those beautiful eyes that I might rest a little
So I choose freedom
Allow me the luxury of selfishness that I too may fly
