During my stay in the internal medicine ,
I was going for ECG ward round with some senior .So pn that day, we got to the ICU while we attending to some patients there was this patient in the ICU that just came around .The nurse was asking him what does he want to eat now ,so the mother could bring it along ,
Man said swallow
Nurse: as how 😂,with which mouth do you want to eat swallow ?
"No you will have to start with liquid now then later you will move to semisolid before you can now think of swallow"

It so nice to see the patient who has been unconscious for some time being able to interact with you.

There is this relief it brings to both the workers and the relatives
