"Let the Poor Breathe"
In the shadow of towering inequality,
A plea echoes through silent disparities.
"Let the poor breathe," an agonizing cry,
In the imbalance of need, where echoes lie.
Amidst concrete jungles and whispers of despair,
The marginalized yearn for a breath of air.
Their dreams entwined with threads of strife,
A plea arises for the chance of a better life.
In the alleyways where poverty resides,
A tension of silent pleas abides.
Let compassion be the air we breathe,
A sanctuary where their hopes can seethe.
In the dance of hunger and silent cries,
Echoes of longing fill the skies.
"Let the poor breathe," a call to action,
To dismantle walls, to foster compassion.
Through the streets where opportunities wane,
Let the winds of change bring a gentle rain.
A revolution of empathy, a shift of tide,
"Let the poor breathe," with arms spread wide.
In the accumulation of humanity's shared fate,
Justice blooms when we alleviate.
Break the shackles, unbind our chains,
Let the poor breathe, release the pains.
In the classrooms where dreams take flight,
Empower the underprivileged, grant them light.
Let education be the breath of hope,
A ladder to climb when life's slopes are steep.
In the corridors of power and decision,
Let the policies nurture an inclusive vision.
"Let the poor breathe," in equitable air,
A commitment to justice, beyond compare.
As we weave a future with threads of care,
Let the poor breathe, let them dare.
For in each heartbeat, in every sigh,
Resides the potential for a boundless sky.
So, let compassion guide our shared quest,
"Let the poor breathe," let them rest.
In the embrace of humanity, let us weave,
A world where every soul can truly breathe.
