Hi there my name is Emily and I live in Mexico, this story is brought to you by My Story Blog. Trust me I don't want to say this👈 😒.
This is how I turned form a stepparents toy to a goddess . I was an orphan until I was adopted to freaking rich people who needed a big smaty pants to show off their family. Like all rich parent I was forced to go to elite rich dumbos school can you belive that 😮💨. I did my best and I was on top of my grades but I didn't have much friends and mostly I was alone. One day my instametaphobic * trust me if you see my mum you'll understand what she's a instagram-people-pleaser * now I think about it why did Mr Adam marry her when he's a freaking scientist who his research have gone wild, he's the billionaire here.
Mum: come here Emily I have something to tell you
Me: mum, I am listening
Mum: my real daughter would be returning home soon and I'll want you to pack your things and leave
Me: whys that.
I turned to Mr Adam but he didn't look at me he just shrugged.
Me: This is insane! You're just going to throw me out like trash?
Mum: Security, please.
Me: I won't leave! This is my home too!
Security: I'm afraid you have to, miss.
Me: Fine! I'll leave! But this isn't over!
Mum: Good riddance.
I looked back at Mr. Adam, hoping he would say something, but he just turned away.
I walked out of the mansion, feeling like my whole world had been turned upside down.
I had nowhere to go, no one to turn to. I felt so alone.
But then I remembered something. I had worked hard to graduate at the top of my class. I had gotten into a good university. I could make a new life for myself.
Mum: (calling after me) And don't come back!
Me: I won't! I'll make sure of it!
I walked away from the mansion, determined to start a new life. I had a small amount of money saved up from my part-time job, enough to rent a tiny apartment and enroll in university.
I'm going to make a new life for myself. I'm going to prove to them that I don't need their money or their approval.
I worked hard, juggling multiple jobs and studying late into the night. I made new friends, people who liked me for who I was, not for my fake family's wealth.
Me: I'm finally happy. I'm finally free.
But then, one day, I received a mysterious phone call.
Man: Hello, Miss Emily. Your grandparents have left you an inheritance of 38 billion dollars.
Me: What? That's impossible. I don't have any grandparents.
Man: Ah, but you do. And they've been searching for you for years. Meet me at the coffee shop on 5th Street tomorrow at 2 PM to discuss the details.
Me: Okay...I'll be there.
I arrived at the coffee shop, curious about the mysterious inheritance. A man in a suit stood up as I approached.
Man: Ah, Miss Emily. Thank you for coming. Please, sit down.
Me: Who are you? And what's this about my grandparents?
Man: My name is Mr. Jenkins. I'm your grandparents' lawyer. They passed away recently, leaving you their entire estate.
Me: But...I thought I didn't have any relatives.
Mr. Jenkins: Ah, yes. Well, it seems your parents weren't entirely truthful with you. Your grandparents were wealthy and influential people. And they've left everything to you.
Me: 38 billion dollars? Why me?
Mr. Jenkins: Because, Miss Emily, you're the last living heir of the family. And they wanted to make sure you were taken care of.
Me: I'm still in shock. What do I need to do?
Mr. Jenkins: Just sign these papers, and the inheritance is yours.
I signed the papers, still in shock. Mr. Jenkins handed me a folder with information about my inheritance.
Me: What's this?
Mr. Jenkins: Your grandparents owned 18 luxurious hotels in the city. They're all yours now.
I couldn't believe it. I decided to keep a low profile, focus on my studies, and graduate in Interior Deco Management.
After graduation which was not peaceful at all, I went to visit one of my grandfather's hotels. I wasn't let in by the security guards. They laughed at me, thinking I was just a poor girl trying to sneak in.
I made a phone call, and the Assistant CEO fired the two security guards on the spot.
I decided to live at the rooftop of the most expensive hotel in the city - fortunately, it was one of my grandmother's hotels, so I lived there for free.
One day, there was a huge occasion at the hotel, and I saw my stepmother, stepsister, and father - who was playing with his daughter for the first time. I felt jealous, remembering how he treated me.
I wore my richest clothes and expensive accessories and went downstairs. My stepsister came up to me and poured wine on me, laughing.
Stepsister: Look at this poor brat trying to fit in with fake Gucci and a fake ring!
Me: I smiled and said, "So, you can't put a leash on this dog?"
Stepmother: (ignoring me)
Father: (slapping me) Mind your tongue, you poor brat! Get out!
Me: I raised my right hand, and my private bodyguards kicked the Adams family out of the banquet.
Me: "If you look down on the poor, you should look down on yourself. You were once poor before you blossomed like this."
(The crowd gasped, and the Adams family was escorted out)
The incident made headlines in the newspapers. My stepfather tried to retaliate, but I had the upper hand.
I fired him from his medical role, as my grandmother owned all the major medical facilities in Mexico. It was an easy move for me.
Stepfather: (pleading) Emily, please reconsider. I'll do anything.
Me: (smiling) You should have thought of that before you treated me like dirt. Now, you're the one who needs me.
But I didn't let him off the hook yet. I made him sweat, made him realize who was in control now.
My stepsister tried to reach out to me, but I ignored her calls and messages. I wasn't ready to forgive and forget yet. My stepmother tried to apologize, but I just laughed it off. They had to pay for the way they treated me. as for my father, he was still trying to get back into my good books. But I was having none of it.
I was finally in control, and I was going to make them pay for every ounce of pain they caused me.
I received an invitation for my college students reunion
I walked into the reunion party, wearing my casual outfit, worth over $490. But to them, I still looked like a poor brat.
Bella: (smirking) Well, well, well. Look what we have here. The poor girl who used to smell.
Me: (smiling) Bella. It's been a while.
Bella: (dumping Coke on my dress) Oops. Sorry about that.
Me: (annoyed) Really, Bella? Again?
Bella: (laughing) You'll always be the same poor girl.
Me: (picking up my phone) Bella is dismissed.
Bella: (laughing) Oh, is she calling her uncle? How cute.
Me: (smiling) No, Bella. I am the CEO of Sky Bulk Hotel. And am calling them to delete your credentials
Bella: you wish. You can't be the CEO
Someone called Bella phone she picked it up and it was on speaker so we all could hear
Chairman: Bella unfortunately you have been dismissed by the ceo. Your credentials are all being removed from our cloud forget about coming to work again.
Bella: (stunned) What? No...that's not possible. Sir I am the company best hope I've been working there for 2 years now sir.
He cut the call
Bella: (storming out) This isn't over!
Me: really?! Your mum could loose her fashion line industry so becareful of what you say honey!!
I'm glad I could finally stand up for myself.
I left the party, feeling empowered. I focused on charity work and eventually met someone who loved and respected me for who I am.
We got married and had children. And I taught them to never look down on anyone, no matter their circumstances.
I finally found happiness, and I owed it all to myself.
