The envelope method with real numbers:
Envelope 1 - BILLS: $500
Envelope 2 - SAVINGS: $250
Envelope 3 - GROCERIES: $125
Envelope 4 - GAS/TRANSPORT: $75
Envelope 5 - PERSONAL: $150
Envelope 6 - GIVING: $50
LEFTOVER: $100 -> straight to savings
Budget the day you get paid, not the day before it runs out.

Wait $125 on groceries for two weeks?? How?? I'm over here spending that in like 4 days just on milk and bread lol.
