Hon. Salisu Muktari's SSAs Forum Holds First Strategy Meeting, Reaffirms Commitment to Potiskum’s Development Agenda

The Forum of Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to the Chairman of Potiskum Local Government, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has held its first strategic meeting, pledging stronger coordination and renewed dedication to grassroots development across the local government area.
The closed-door session focused on exploring effective ways for the various SSA offices to operate more efficiently through collaboration, synergy, and shared responsibility, while aligning their duties with the developmental priorities of the local government administration.
Members of the forum also deliberated on mechanisms to strengthen the promotion and implementation of the numerous development projects and people-oriented programs being executed by Hon. Salisu Muktari across Potiskum.
As part of key decisions reached, the forum unanimously approved its leadership structure to steer its affairs. Hon. Abdullahi Sani (Kuna) was named Chairman, with Hon. Habu Maina Jiji as Vice Chairman. Other officers include Mal. Ibrahim M. Nura as Secretary, Amina Daffa as Treasurer, Hon. Ibrahim Iliyasu as Financial Secretary, Hon. Suleiman Babagana as Legal Adviser, and Hon. Sale Alhaji Shuddi as Public Relations Officer.
The forum further resolved that the seven SSA offices would function under a unified framework tagged “Lokacin Rama Alkhairi,” aimed at ensuring consistency, accountability, and effective service delivery.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the forum, Hon. Abdullahi Sani (Kuna), assured members of purposeful leadership, noting that the forum would strengthen engagement with stakeholders, including security agencies, to enhance coordination and public awareness.
He emphasized that the forum remains committed to ensuring that the people of Potiskum are fully informed about the developmental strides and policy direction of the Chairman of Potiskum Local Government, Hon. Salisu Muktari, while supporting his vision for sustainable and inclusive grassroots development.
