The policies of the Potiskum Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Salisu Muktari, are consistent with protecting the community from environmental, air, and water pollution, which will greatly help in improving the lives of the people of the local government.
The areas that the chairman considered to be most effective and efficient in improving the affairs of the people of the local government are include the revival of dead places that were abandoned by the previous government.
Most of the places have become a threat to the people of the local government; many places have become havens for criminals and have become places for dumping garbage, sewage, and urine, which pollute the air that the people breathe and cause various diseases.
Apart from preserving the assets and ensuring that they will continue to be used for the direct benefit of the good people of the local government, the rehabilitation of the assets also has a significant impact on the lives of the residents because any place that has become a den for drug addicts can become a centre for corruption, even child rape.
A resident of NPN in Potikum Local Government Area confirmed that they were very happy with the rehabilitation of the veterinary clinic by Hon. Salisu Muktari, not only for the provision of medicines or care for animals, but also because it has reduced their fear and the hardships they found themselves in after the place became a haven for drug addicts.
“The rehabilitation of this veteran is not a small matter for us, because it is an attempt to prevent the spread of some of the bad things that are happening in this area, since this place has become a den for drug addicts after previous governments abandoned it. We have seen many strange things.
