The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, is bringing in plans that play a significant role in the revival of the Agric Department of Potiskum LGA.
It is his efforts that are producing the good results that the Agriculture Department gets in any state or national exhibition because they get the contribution that is very helpful in the agricultural products exhibition that the local government has.
The chairman was committed to ensuring and strengthening the department to ensure the commitment of the Yobe State government under the leadership of His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, to ensure the quality of agriculture to combat food insecurity and improve the lives of the good people of Yobe State.
Hon. Abdullahi Dallari, the supervisor councilor for agriculture of Potiskum Local Government Area, confirmed that :
"There is no time when we have asked for support that can develop our unit and benefit our community from our boss, Hon. Salisu Muktari, that he has not given us full support in implementing it. We are always getting support promptly.
"The important role he plays in ensuring the quality of agriculture and livestock in the Potiskum Local Government Area is producing very effective results because we are at the forefront of showcasing the natural resources in the agricultural sector in every type of agricultural exhibition we have attended." Said Hon. Dallari.
