Hon. Salisu Muktari the executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, has been instrumental in providing the Agric Department with good contribution and support in his efforts to ensure the commitment of Governor Buni to improve agriculture across Yobe State.
The chairman gave the Agric department a direct door for direct consultation to know the ways and areas that need assistance to modernize and change the agricultural sector in the local government area.
He also provided an opportunity to consult and invite agricultural experts from all sectors to receive advice that will help greatly to improve the sector and create a good management system.
He did not stop there, he also continued to inspire workers to create and bring new things that would facilitate agricultural activities, and the production of locally fabricated machines that would improve and facilitate farming not only in Potiskum Local Government but also for the benefit of farmers around the world.
He fenced and renovated the Agric Department to ensure that the department is a strong unit that will help to improve economic activities in the local government, to boost trade and provide food security in the local government and Yobe State as a whole.
