The Executive Chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, is the only chairman who stands firmly to protect Gov. Buni's dignity by providing sustainable development projects to Potiskum LGA.

The chairman is also committed to following up on any project that the Yobe State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN has provided in Potiskum LGA to ensure its quality and improve its impact on the lives of the people.

If you leave aside the projects that are currently being implemented by the chairman, he also looks at those that have been implemented before his administration to bring about changes that will improve and modernize them for the benefit of the good people of Potiskum LGA.

The chairman also goes out in disguise at night to visit construction sites and inspect areas that need development work in the local government area. This is how he identifies problems and seeks solutions from various departments of the federal and Yobe state ministries.

The chairman also plays a key role in the local government sector in providing solar-powered boreholes, providing water tanks, repairing old water tanks, supporting youth, supporting agriculture, creating jobs, assisting local government employees, and providing special support to sectors such as health, education, and agriculture to develop their activities in the local government area.
