The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, supported the Potiskum local government Primary Health Board to ensure the implementation of ERM for MNCHW/SODs in the local government area.
This is in line with the chairman's intention to ensure a sound management system in the health and welfare sector as well as to maintain health and prevent the spread of diseases in Potiskum local government area.
The coordinator of the PHC Board of Potiskum local government area, Abdulrahman Musa, said that they are continuing to carry out their activities with the support of the executive chairman of Potiskum local government area.
"Today is the third day of the ERM in Potiskum LGA for MNCHW/SODs, which is progressing well and will greatly help in bringing modern solutions to the spread of new diseases and help in maintaining health laws.
"The initiative will also modernize our operations, improve health and safety, and improve the well-being of the community across Potiskum LGA, where our chairman has stood firm to provide us with the support that will help us carry out our operations in a systematic manner." He said
He also commended the executive chairman of Potiskum LGA for his commitment and contribution to the PHC board to ensure their operations are safe.
