Hon. Salisu Muktari, as the executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, has revived the performance of several units, departments, and security agencies in Potiskum LGA, improving the performance in terms of infrastructure and ensuring the quality of their services.
The chairman found the LGA in a state of deterioration, which led to the suspension of the work of some units, departments, and agencies and their deterioration, and the chairman has stood up to restore their dignity.
Potiskum LGA has been without a veterinary clinic for years that would improve the livestock sector and provide quality care and health for animals until after his arrival as the executive chairman of the LGA in 2019, when he revived the work of the veterinary clinic, renovated it, and made every contribution to improving their services.
Potiskum Local Government Area has neglected its old secretariat and abandoned it for many years, which has resulted in it becoming a haven for drug addicts and a place for defecation and dumping of waste in any way, which plays a significant role in environmental pollution and air pollution that is very harmful to the health of the people living in the area.
Following the efforts of Hon. Salisu Muktari, the old secretariat has become a residence to several government institutions, where he has improved it and provided security stakeholders with permanent shelter in it.
The chairman has stood up for the betterment and improvement of the situation in Potiskum Local Government Area.
