The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has prevented and alleviated the floods that threaten the lives and properties of the good people of Potiskum Local Government Area.
The chairman prevented the floods by taking decisive action to provide effective drainage systems following the repair, renovation, and evacuation of several drains in the Potiskum Local Government Area.
Establishing an effective management system and ensuring the prevention of any threat related to floods or anything that may disrupt the current and future lives of the community is a mission that he has had since he was a councilor in the 1990s.
The chairman has established and constructed several drainages, which are the drainages that the good people of the Potiskum Local Government Area continue to enjoy and benefit from at this time.
