The Executive Chairman of Potiskum LGA, Hon. Salisu Muktari has commended the Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, for extending Ramadan support to vulnerable and less privileged residents across the state, describing the initiative as a timely intervention and a strong reflection of responsible leadership.
Hon. Salisu Muktari noted that the governor’s gesture came at a crucial moment when many families require support to comfortably observe the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the chairman, Gov. Buni has continued to demonstrate compassion and commitment to the welfare of the people, particularly those facing economic hardship. He said the Ramadan assistance highlights the governor’s dedication to ensuring that the benefits of governance reach all segments of society, especially the most vulnerable.
“This gesture by His Excellency clearly reflects the spirit of good leadership and genuine concern for the wellbeing of the people. It is both timely and highly commendable,” Hon. Salisu Muktari stated.
He added that the intervention would provide much-needed relief to many households across communities, enabling families to observe Ramadan with greater ease and dignity.
The chairman further applauded the governor’s consistent people-oriented policies and prayed for continued success and divine guidance as he continues to steer the affairs of the state.
Hon. Salisu Muktari also encouraged other leaders, philanthropists, and well-meaning individuals across Yobe State to emulate the governor’s example by supporting vulnerable members of society, particularly during periods that emphasize compassion, charity, and communal solidarity.
