The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, is the only chairman in Yobe State who goes out to Federal Government Ministries and Agencies to scout for development projects for his local government.
The chairman often goes to key federal ministries and agencies to scout for development projects for the local government to develop and modernize the local government into a vibrant city.
Hon. Salisu Muktari recently visited the Federal Ministry for Works and Housing, headed by Sen. Dave Umahi, to scout for projects that will impact the lives of residents of the local government.
The chairman also made a special trip to the __ Northeast Development Commission headquarters, where he scouted for roads, bridges, and solar streetlights that the people of the local government are benefiting from.
The Potiskum Local Government Area Executive Chairman also pledged to coordinate and consult with security leaders from the federal and state governments to jointly prevent acts of vandalism and bring in policies that will ensure Potiskum as a peaceful local government.
He also empowered the security forces by providing them with offices and good contributions to ensure the security of the community and their properties.
Hon. Salisu Muktari has become a shining star as the Potiskum Local Government Area continues to shine through major development projects.
