The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, hosted the new 23 Task Force Brigade commander at his office in the LGA's secretariat and assured full support to the task force officers to ensure community security.
The new commander paid the visit to strengthen the relationship between him, his officers, and the Potiskum Local Government Area; he also assured his ongoing commitment to improve security and bring in new measures that will meet the challenges faced by the people of the local government area.
“We are committed to strengthening security among the good people of this local government area, and we are seeking cooperation and support between us, the local government, and the good people of the local government area to ensure the fulfillment of our mission of creating a peaceful local government area.” Major Lawei said.
On his part, the local government executive chairman assured that the local government is ready to cooperate and provide full support to ensure the security of its people at all times.
"Potiskum Local Government Area is ready to provide you with full support to ensure our commitment of creating a local government that is full of peace and stability and a source of pride for all of us." He said.
