The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has renovated and reconstructed the Mamudo district head's palace and allocated a large and modern palace for the Jigawa's district head in Potiskum LGA.

This is to confirm the intention of the Executive Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, to treat the traditional rulers with respect and dignity as the fathers of our entire communities.

The Mamudo district head testified that between him and Hon. Salisu Muktari, there's nothing but a prayer and best wishes because it took him so many years submitting his request for the renovation of his palace to the Potiskum local government, but it was not renovated until the arrival of Hon. Salisu Muktari.

"We must welcome you as representatives of Potiskum Local Government and reiterate our support and well-being to the Executive Chairman of Potiskum Local Government, Hon. Salisu Muktari, for the renovation and upgrading of our building, which is now the place where we hold our council meetings.

"What he did for us is commendable because we have been seeking it for many years the renovation of our building has strengthen our spirit and remove our fears, because the building is damaged before and we requested so many times but we did not get the approval of the request until the arrival of Hon. Salisu Muktari." Said the Head district of Mamudo

The chairman also provided a large and spacious palace for the head of Jigawa as he allocated the palace at old housing complex built by the late Sen. Mamman B. Ali in Jigawa.

Hon. Salisu Muktari is committed to improving every aspect and sector across the Potiskum Local Government Area.
