The executive chairman of Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has been instrumental in securing development projects from state and federal agencies for the development of Potiskum LGA.
This is due to his good relationships with stakeholders, senior officials, and power holders in state and federal government, which have enabled him to secure very important development projects for the Potiskum LGA.
The chairman is playing a vital role in securing and calling the attention of federal health workers to directly visit the Potiskum Local Government Health Care Board (PHC Board) and provide them with direct support to address the challenges that may face the local government area in the future.
The chairman also secured several road projects; in particular, he went to the Federal Capital Territory and secured the projects to construct a road that would connect Kwanan Dan-Ja to Nasarawa and a road and bridge that would connect Anguwar Lailai and Misau Road.
The chairman also provided road repair and improvement projects in Potiskum Local Government Area, where he has already completed road repair projects, including the Sabuwar Tasha to Kasuwan MPN road and the Dogon Karfe to hospital road, as well as the improvement and repair of Roseline Road.
This follows the chairman’s positive policies to bring about changes that will ensure the commitment of the Yobe State government under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN.
