The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has given primary health care priority and influence in his administration.
The fact that health provides everything from property to other infrastructure must be managed healthily, Hon. Salisu Muktari has given priority to ensuring the quality of the primary health care system in Potiskum local government area.
Hon. Salisu Muktari has been following up with providing direct support to the first-level health centres, "Primary Health Care centres," every year, where he said,
"I need a success and failure story of your activities every year to know our successes and failures in the health sector because that is the only way we can correct our mistakes and bring about effective changes.
"Our door is open to receive all your complaints. As long as it is a complaint that will improve the health of our people at the first level, there is no barrier or difficulty to approach us directly with your problems.
"We will continue to work with professionals and experts in the health sector to bring sustainable development to the good people of our local government." Hon. Salisu Muktari to the leaders of PHC Potiskum LGA.
