...This is to resolve the dispute over the distribution of Buni agricultural empowerment in the Potiskum Local Government Area.

Whenever the distribution of government resources in Potiskum Local Government Area is raised, Hon. Salisu Muktari gives political office holders the opportunity to perform their office functions as representatives of the people of Potiskum Local Government Area.

To resolve the dispute over the distribution of Buni agricultural empowerment in the Potiskum Local Government Area under the leadership of Hon. Salisu Muktari, contact the Ward Councilors as your representatives.

Since the law provides for full representation in the governance system from the federal, state, and local government levels, the Local Government Council chairman has no authority or responsibility to manage the distribution of public resources except with the representation of the community, the Ward Councilors, as representatives of the community at the local government level.

Potiskum Local Government Area has 10 wards, where each ward has its own representative representing its community in the local government executive council. That is why their office is effective in distributing development projects and empowering the community they represent.

Hon. Salisu Muktari regularly meets with stakeholders in the Potiskum Local Government Area and appoints councilors as community representatives as provided by law to directly distribute community goods to them, which also happened in the Buni Phase II agricultural empowerment distribution system in the Potiskum Local Government Area.

Hon. Salisu Muktari met with the distribution committee and directed that each ward councilor be given the empowerment items to distribute to farmers who qualify to benefit from the Gov. Buni agricultural development program.

There is no district or ward in the 10 wards of Potiskum Local Government Area that has not been provided with Buni agricultural inputs under Governor Buni Mega’s agricultural development program.

The attached photo below is a testimony of one of the members of the council (Councillor) distributing the donated items in his ward.
