The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has fenced Mopol Barracks, renovated buildings, and repaired patrol vehicles to strengthen security in Potiskum local government area.
The Mopol Barracks has been in a state of disrepair for years, where it has become like a desert without proper buildings, no modern structure, or good system that will empower Mopol security personnel to provide good security to the good people of the local government.
Encouraging and providing good security to the people of Potiskum local government is one of the major goals of the executive chairman of the local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, who renovated and upgraded the Mopol Barracks to restore the dignity of the place and improve the security of the good people of Potiskum local government area.
After the renovation of the barracks, the chairman repaired the patrol vehicles and redesigned the offices of the security officers in the barracks, providing them with better facilities that will help improve their work and modernise the methods of carrying out their duties.
"Providing security and stability to the community is the first responsibility of every leader; therefore, we are ready to see that we strengthen our security officers in every aspect to provide security and stability to our community in this local government area.
