The executive chairman of the Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, has developed the transportation sector by repairing the old and providing new mass transit buses in Potiskum local government area.
This is also part of the chairman's efforts to revive the government's assets and provide a systematic and effective source of income to the local government area.
The provision of the vehicles will facilitate transportation and provide a good management system in the transportation sector of the local government.
In the year 2022, the executive chairman has repaired and provided the mass transit vehicles; he also warned the drivers to give good care to the buses, and he showed his frustration at how the transportation sector has experienced a serious setback in the local government area before.
"We have tried very hard to see that we revive these vehicles and provide new ones in order to restore the reputation of mass transit and strengthen the people of the local government in the field of transportation.
