The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area Hon. Salisu Muktari has created one existing council chamber and renovate one in the secretariat's of the local government.
Before the arrival of Hon. Salisu Muktari the 10 Councilors of Potiskum Local Government do not have their own Council in the local government secretariat.
In previous years, the Secretariat Chamber where the meeting of every committee is held has been not according to the modern system, there is no proper management equipment, where now Hon. Salisu Muktari updated it and provided it with a modern management system.
"We must provide all our councilors with a modern executive council (Chamber) in our blessed secretariat, because with this they will have full rights to carry out their duties without any distractions. We will revive all the executive council chambers of our local government with all our strength." Hon. Salisu Muktari said
As we know that every municipality has two council chambers, one for the executive chairman and his staff and one for the council speaker and his following councillors in order to pass a law.
The restoration of these areas has modernized the secretariat and provided it with good management system across 10th wards of Potiskum local government area.
