Hon. Salisu Muktari commends Governor Mai Mala Buni for supporting over 30,000 vulnerable, underprivileged with Ramadan Basket

The executive chairman of the Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, commends the executive governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, for supporting over 30,000 vulnerable, underprivileged people across 17 LGAs of the state.

The local government chairman expressed his happiness and commended the esteemed governor for this noble initiative to show mercy to the good people of the state during the fasting month of Ramadan.

"Having known our Governor H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, for his patience, perseverance, and compassion, we are not surprised to see how he has supported over 30,000 vulnerable and needy households across Yobe State.

"This initiative is certainly commendable because no one is left behind, as it's going to touch all the areas of 178 wards and districts across Yobe State, as the support is designed to go around the wards and reach those who have been allocated for the support directly.

"Governor Buni is a genius in bringing about modern changes in many areas, especially on issues that can directly affect the welfare of the good people of Yobe State; therefore, we must commend his diligence and this initiative at a time when poverty, hunger, and unemployment are affecting the well-being of thousands of people." Said Hon. Salisu Muktari

Also, the executive chairman expressed his concern for the well-being of his community and called on the people of his local government to continue to give their full support to the executive governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, to fulfil his mission.

"It is good that all of us, the people of this local government, both party members and non-party members, should continue to pray for our executive governor and give him full support as the governor of our blessed state.

"Because our prayers and support will go a long way in bringing us fruitful development across Yobe State, we must put aside opposition and political partisanship to address the problems of our people and give Governor Buni full support since we understand that the welfare of the people of Yobe State is his main mission." Hon. Salisu Muktari added.
