The executive chairman of the Potiskum Local Government Area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, chaired the Task Force Meeting on Health and assured his full support to the Potiskum Local Government Area's PHC Board.
The Chairman chaired the meeting today, Saturday, 2nd, August, 2025, at the council chamber of the Potiskum Local Government Secretariat to hear from health workers on the challenges and achievements in every aspect of health services across the Local Government Area.
The chairman was committed to improving the quality of life of the community by providing full access and consultation with LGA's PHC Board to prevent any health threats and ensure that all appropriate measures are taken to improve the health sector in the Potiskum Local Government Area.
"I always say that my government is ready, and we know that we are giving priority to the health sector in this local government area. It's because if health is damaged, our people will be in unprecedented danger.
"I also reiterate that I am ready to make all necessary contributions and support to improve the lives of our good people through the development of health services across this local government area.
