




Hon. Salisu Muktari Attends Official Handing Over of Newly Constructed Arikime Mega School in Potiskum LGA

The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, attended the handing over of the newly constructed Arikime Mega School in the Potiskum local government area.
The Arikime Mega School was established to reduce overcrowding and end the student segregation in the old Arikime, which has over 18,000 students. It's established by the North East Development Commission (NEDC) and the Yobe State Government led by the executive governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN.
The Chairman commended NEDC for this excellent project and expressed his happiness and satisfaction with the plans:
"I use this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation to the North East Development Commission (NEDC) and the Yobe State Government for this great project that aims to bring sustainability and development of education to the good people of Potiskum Local Government Area.
Arikime being a very historic and influential school with a large student population of about 18,000, the establishment of this school will play a significant role in reducing student overcrowding and providing them with quality education." Said Hon. Salisu Muktari
He further commended NEDC on behalf of the good people of Potiskum Local Government Area.
