The executive chairman of Potiskum local government area, Hon. Salisu Muktari, and the executive governor of Yobe State are working to improve the lives and well-being of the good people of Potiskum LGA.
Governor Buni and Hon. Salisu Muktari shared a common goal of implementing development projects based on the principles of empowering the poor and creating a good governance system that directly benefits the people of the state and Potiskum LGA.
Their closeness to their goals has created a Potiskum LGA that is full of effective and efficient communities and a source of pride for Yobe State and Nigeria.
Potiskum Local Government has achieved many local government and state development projects due to the good relationship and goodwill between the two of them, where the local government is at the forefront of movement or bringing about development that will enable the people to stand on their own feet.
"We will continue to pursue development projects and bring in modern plans to revitalise Potiskum Local Government Area and create a beautiful community full of pride and a good healthcare system.
"I have no greater goal than to see Potiskum Local Government Area among the most successful and effective local governments in security, health, education and agriculture because through them, our people will have equal leadership and social justice." Said Hon. Salisu Muktari
On his part, Governor Buni also confirmed his commitment and his policies to continue improving his services across Yobe State, stating that it will be very effective if tribalism and partisanship are put aside and leadership and development projects are faced because Yobe State is a unified state.
