The day had retreated early on that quiet Friday that it gave Tale the impression that it was the destinied day. He raised gently from his crancky bed and swum his way through the darkness, pacing cautiously to the door, he then turned the door handle gently and peered through. His eyeballs probing to see if there's anyone in the hallway. Dare and Nini had gone to club, Lere had gone to visit a friend. He almost thank God aloud for helping him put things in place for his plan to go smoothly.
He walked out of his room and left the door ajar. There was a dim yellow bulb dangling an insh down above his head to source his light through the hall way. His shadow lingers behind him as he tip toed down to each room checking to confirm if they were all out of the house, the kitchen was not exempted.
Eventually, he was sure, and was ready to execute his plan, he sighted a door ahead and a sinister smile spread across his face. Although he was still taking a step at a time, he had balanced fully on his foot, so that his bare foot felt cold against the tiled floor.
Frightened, he jumped as the dog from the neighbouring building suddenly barked that he had to steady himself with the wall. He could swore a pant of blood has dried off his veins. He mumbled some curse word at the dog as he turned the knob of the door that he stood before. Strangely, the door opened without him using the spare key he had in his shirt's breast pocket, he was to excited to pounder on the reason.
He entered the room, stepping gingerly into darkness, afraid to bump into something, the room was not his, he was not used to the settings. He eventually swum his way to the bed as he blindly use his hand to check where laide had laid, her loud snore assured him that she was deeply asleep. He then grabbed her neck with both of his hands and cluthed tight with all the power he could summon inside him.
Laide begun to fight for her life as she used her fixed nails to scratch his hand in an attempt to break free from the unknown choking hands. She swing and sway her legs desperately fighting for her life. Soon she became too weak to fight back and began to gaggle. She probably had started to say her last prayer when the light came on.
At first the white bright flourisent light blinded Tale, and then it hurt the back of his eyes which made him groan softly, he withdraw his hands and cover his eyes. By the time he recovered his sight, he was in both shock and surprise. He blinked unconsciously wishing he would wake up from his nightmare as he saw Lere, Dare and Nini all standing by the door glaring at him.
He never thought he would desperately wish the earth would swallow him.
The night's awkward silence was disrupted by laide's sharp cough, as air rushed into and throat pipe.
Tale's hand dropped and his shoulders sagged from defeat and fright. He pupils shranked and he screeched softly as he imagined himself behind bars.
Laide would have to give birth to a child whose father is in prison for attempting to kill his mother, he thought. What a sad faith he had. His shadow had caught up with him.
