Greenhouse effect

The sun shines down, its rays so warm,
But some are reflected, back out to the storm.
But others are trapped, by gases, so thick,
Like a blanket, the heat is trapped, oh so quick.
That's the greenhouse effect, it's a force so strong,
It warms the Earth, like a song.
