The executive governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, accompanied by the executive chairman of Potiskum local government, visited the Damaturu-Kalallawa road today, 19 Jan, 2025.
The Yobe state government, under the leadership of the executive governor, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, COMN, is continuing to manage and revive the road work in order to modernise and rehabilitate the road after it's damage due to the floods.
The government has decided to renew the road and change its shape in order to strengthen businesses and transportation in Damaturu-Kalallawa community, which in the past was caused by the poor quality of the road.
The project is part of Governor Buni's major plans to provide adequate transport routes across the state and fulfil his plan to provide 178 good roads in 178 districts under 17 local government areas of Yobe state.
The governor has vowed to revive the economy, create jobs, and revive the state's industries in the year 2025.
