The Executive Governor of Yobe State, H.E. Hon. Mai Mala Buni, FCIA, CON, COMN, celebrated his sixth anniversary in office yesterday, May 29, 2025, and also made it a point to interact directly with the good people of the state at Yobe State Government House, Banquet Hall, Damaturu.

During the meeting, key issues were discussed, and his administration’s efforts in transforming agriculture, health sectors and providing development projects that have a significant impact on the lives of the good people of Yobe State were commended.

Based on the commitment of the governor and the results of his interaction and consultation with the people of the state yesterday, it was confirmed that “infrastructure projects always mean better living conditions and economic development,” as was explained by how development projects have provided economic opportunities to Yobe State during his six years in office.

The governor has confirmed all the policies of his administration and implemented all the promises he made during the election campaign, which include improving education, health, development projects and ensuring security. At present, the state has no other source of pride than the achievements seen in these areas, which have been achieved as a result of the governor’s commitment to improving the lives of the people of Yobe State as a whole.

His administration also made a convincing presentation on how economic policies and the restoration of agricultural status in Yobe State will affect the lives of the people, explaining its past and current plans to improve agricultural activities, which are of great benefit to the economy of Yobe State and Northern Nigeria as a whole.

The people of the state were proud of the changes they had achieved in all aspects and praised the quality of roadworks, supporting his commitment to provide good rural roads and expand Yobe State through the provision of modern infrastructure and the modernization of 17 local governments of the state into cities that are effective in the fields of education, health, and industry.

The governor of Yobe State is committed to ensuring the well-being of the state’s residents and improving economic activities.
