Yobe State, under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, has been ranked the most affordable state in Nigeria according to the NBS statistics.
This was achieved as a result of the economic plans and reforms that His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA CON COMN, has put in place to make life easier and boost the economy of Yobe State.
Among the major plans that the Yobe State Government has put in place to make life easier for its people is tax relief because the Yobe State Government has not imposed any tax to maintain the price of basic goods and to provide efficient and affordable business to its people.
The state government has also provided effective and efficient modern agricultural empowerment systems and is committed to ensuring that agriculture has transformed from a craft to a profitable business and providing self-reliance to the residents of the state.
The Yobe State Government under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni FCIA, CON, COMN, has also provided ways to assist small business owners with capital and provided interest-free credit facilities to improve the lives of the people and create jobs.
The results of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) have confirmed that Yobe State is number one in ease of living, while the state is leading in curbing the inflation rate of consumer goods, which fell by 2.8 in July.
